Still·life | Coming Soon!

‘Still·life’ is a set of timeless tableware inspired by liturgical objects, serving three fundamentals – water, wine and bread. As a set-up, it appears as sculptural arrangement with religious connotations meant to be used for funeral feasts. Once taken apart, the set turns into minimalistic, neutral tableware for daily life usage.

‘Still·life’ aims to build a bridge between modern culture and roman catholic history by bringing traditional and folkloristic mourning rituals into the contemporary. It celebrates togetherness, the sharing of food and highlights the importance of rituals in correlation with death.
